1965 Ford Galaxie

Full Body Off Chassis Restoration.

The owner of this American import wanted a full body off chassis restoration done. The body was completely stripped back to bare metal, rust repairs were done including fabricating new panels and installing them. The chassis was stripped of all its suspension, brake lines, fuel lines, bushes and sandblasted before being primed and painted in a nice black etch primer and gloss black 2k topcoat.

Once the body repairs were completed and epoxy primed the underbody was spray undersealed and the interior floors were spray in a satin black Raptor deck-liner for protection .

Once all the newly painted suspension was reinstalled with all new bushes ball joints and the like the body was refitted to the chassis, at this point New Mag wheels and tyres were fitted to the vehicle.
We had the final body repair certification inspection done and had the vehicle also receive its brand spanking new VIN number and tag.

The owner has his own engine builder preparing and installing the engine and then we will have the Low volume certification certificate completed before registration and off she goes.

Ford Galaxie

The Ford Galaxie is a full-sized car that was built in the United States by Ford for model years 1959 through 1974. The name was used for the top models in Ford's full-size range from 1958 until 1961, in a marketing attempt to appeal to the excitement surrounding the Space Race. In 1958, a concept car was introduced called "la Galaxie" which incorporated the headlights into pods inline with the grille and a reduced front profile.
